Dr. James A. “Andy” Barron
Dr. Barron has changed smiles for many Central Texans since 1991, when he first opened his office in Temple.
Dr. Barron's academic training began at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas where he attended dental school and later received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He earned his Master of Science in Oral Biology from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. While at the University of Missouri, he also completed postdoctoral specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Barron returned to Texas where he earned a postdoctoral degree in Orthodontics at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston.
In February 2000, Dr. Barron achieved the distinguished status of Board Certified Orthodontist. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Texas Association of Orthodontists. He is also a past president of the Central Texas Dental Society.
Drs. Andy and Shawne Barron are very active in their church as well as many local organizations. They share a common goal to help the citizens of Central Texas by offering their time and assistance to many civic and service clubs.
Dr. Michael Solomon
Dr. Solomon spent his childhood in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating from high school, he then made his way to Texas to attend The University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with high honors and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Dr. Solomon then attended the The University of Texas - Houston Dental Branch where he graduated at the top of his class and was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, Dr. Solomon completed an orthodontic residency at UT – Houston Dental Branch, as well, where he simultaneously earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters of Science degree.
Dr. Solomon is committed to excellence in the profession of orthodontics and enhances his skills by regularly participating in numerous orthodontic conferences. He is an active member of several dental and orthodontic professional societies, including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, local dental societies and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Solomon has also achieved the status of being a Board Certified Orthodontist through the American Board of Orthodontics.
In his personal life, Dr. Solomon and his wife, Karen, are proud parents to their three children, Tyler, Emily and Drew. In his free time, Dr. Solomon enjoys spending time with his family as well as multiple outdoor activities such as golfing, fishing, snow skiing and attending UT sporting events.
Dr. Lauren E. Davis
Dr. Lauren Davis grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Arkansas completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Davis received her dental training at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where she graduated at the top of her class. Dr. Davis received her specialty training in orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry receiving a Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Davis is proud to be a member of several dental and orthodontic societies including the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.
In her personal life, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with her husband Lance and their families.
